Harry Wang and the Mosman Symphony Orchestra

17 year old violinist Harry Wang’s debut solo violin charity concert at the Sydney Town Hall at 2.30 pm on Saturday 10 December 2022 will support the work of the Symphony for Life Foundation.

“Growing up, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have parents who have been able to continually support me in my passion for music. Countless hours of dedication within my music making have allowed me to reach new heights and achieve goals I never knew were possible. Diving deeper and deeper into this world full of music, I gradually discovered my own love for the violin, and it has been an absolute pleasure in sharing this amongst many audiences across the world. All this hard work and hours of practice has culminated in a special charity concert on the 10th of December supporting the ‘Symphony for Life’ foundation where I will be performing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Mosman Symphony Orchestra amongst other extremely exciting pieces. I feel particularly passionate for this foundation as I want every child, no matter their personal background, to experience the same joy I feel when I pick up my violin. So please, if you have time away from your summer vacation, come for an afternoon of fiery, captivating music and support a good cause.”   Harry Wang

Harry will perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto together with The King’s School Young Musicians and the Mosman Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrew Del Riccio. The program will also include show pieces by rising stars Armonico Quartet and Dragon Brothers Quintet  plus a guest performance by the Symphony For Life children’s orchestra.
