This is all about the children in the Symphony for Life Foundation program. Life is not always easy for them, even in the best of times, but they have worked their way through lockdowns in the past 18 months and emerged triumphant after their participation in Symphony for Lockdown. They are now working hard and ready to forge ahead with the expanded SFLF program which will commence in 2022.
We are all overwhelmed with the endorsement of the work of Symphony for Life Foundation and the fantastic support of the musicians who played with the kids in Animals of the Orchestra which was composed specially for them by Emma Greenhill. See the video of this piece above if you haven’t already; over 200 players, all recorded in their own homes.
Huge thanks to all those of you who rallied to the call for support and contributed funds to ensure continuity of the program in 2022. We could not do this without you.
If you haven’t had a chance, please donate to support these incredible children here.
Also, in support of Symphony For Life, a group of incredible classical musicians are offering masterclasses across a range of instruments free of charge. Find out more and book one for you or a friend here.
